Manolis Volirakis has made the biggest
authentic jar in Crete!
It took him 15 days to
complete and he finished its construction
on 15 September 2004.
This special jar was shown at the first
Festival of
Traditional Ceramics and it was
baked in a specially constructed gas kiln.
The whole procedure was attended by about
3000 visitors.
